Crafted in Kyoto since 1875, Kaikado tea canisters are a masterpiece of precision and tradition. Handmade using over 130 meticulous steps, each canister closes effortlessly—no pushing or pressing required. Simply align the seams, and the lid will gently descend, expelling air for a naturally airtight seal.
Perfect for storing tea, coffee, beans, seeds, and more, these canisters develop a unique patina over time, shaped by their environment and use.
Please Note: These items are FINAL SALE. Once unwrapped, the oxidation process begins, making each piece one of a kind. Patina develops based on handling, light exposure, and air, ensuring your canister tells its own story.
